Are you an experienced Supervisor with experience in the Facilities Management industry? If so, my Halifax-based client is looking for a Compliance Team Supervisor. This is a full-time office-based role working 40 hours a week.
Main Duties
1. During periods of staff absence, ensure that customer service levels are maintained and clients' work is efficiently processed.
2. Ensure Team and Department targets and performance measures are met.
3. Provide cover when necessary for the immediate Manager.
4. Assist, as appropriate, with any first line disciplinary action in line with the company's processes and procedures.
5. Assist in the control of the Department's bonus incentive scheme.
6. Assist in monitoring and controlling the Department's performance against company and client KPIs with the aim of achieving continuous improvement.
7. Assist in the development of the Helpdesk Procedure Manual to set out best practice and act as a training aid.
8. Team training/development.
9. Customer Service - responsible for a small number of clients.
Experience Required
1. Preferably 3 years' experience in a customer service role within the compliance or reactive maintenance business sector.
2. A good understanding of compliance disciplines and certification requirements.
3. Competence in using the Microsoft Office package for data retrieval and reporting purposes.
4. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task when under pressure.
5. Ability to learn new client systems and provide the relevant team training.
6. Good sickness/absence record (within Company expectations).
7. Proven ability to take the lead dealing with all aspects of client and subcontractor queries using actions in line with company policy/escalation process.
8. Ability to delegate effectively where appropriate.
9. Communicate effectively to both senior management and team members.
10. Ability to implement change effectively within the department and team.
11. Ability to effectively manage your team's workload to ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times.
