We have a fixed-term Transport Administrator role available within Aggregate Industries. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and experience using Google Sheets.
Role: Transport Administrator
Location: Aggregate Industries, Smith Hall Lane, Hulland Ward, Derbyshire, DE6 3ET
Rate: Equivalent of up to £25,000 per year
Contract length: Approx. until October
Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:

Calling customers to book deliveries.
*
Booking deliveries online.
*
Answering queries from the Sales Team.
*
Speaking with drivers for updates on deliveries.
*
Negotiating rates with hauliers.
*
Supporting the planners with any other ad hoc tasks.
Essential requirements:
*
Strong administrative background with excellent organizational skills.
*
Experience with Google Mail and Google Sheets is a must.
*
Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
*
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
*
Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
*
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Desirable requirements:

Logistics experience is beneficial but not essential.
