The School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences at Loughborough University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Sport and/or Exercise Rehabilitation. The successful candidate will contribute to research, innovation, and teaching, with a focus on Rehabilitation Science in a Sport and/or Exercise context.
The successful candidate will support the educational and student experience activities across our MSc programmes in Sport Rehabilitation, Exercise Rehabilitation, and/or Strength and Conditioning. They will hold a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant field, with a proven track record of academic publication and post-doctoral experience in research, teaching, and/or rehabilitative/training practices. Additionally, they will have a clear research and innovation plan that will drive the development and translation of knowledge and practice in this area, supporting the University’s Research and Innovation core plan. This plan should also align with the strategy of the National Rehabilitation Centre and/or the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine.
We are also particularly interested in people who bring expertise in one of the following areas:
* Musculoskeletal Injury Rehabilitation
* Strength and Conditioning Science
* Clinical Exercise Physiology
