Job Title:
Facilities Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Coordinator to join our client's team in Farnborough. The successful candidate will work closely with the HSE & Facilities Manager and the wider Facilities team to support the core business, improve processes, and ensure a suitable working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilities Management:
o Work both hands-on and in the office as part of the Facilities team, ensuring all site equipment is serviced and maintained according to current legislation and high health and safety standards.
* Maintenance Coordination:
o Oversee planned and preventative maintenance, ensuring it is completed in a timely manner and meets statutory compliance standards.
* Repair Monitoring:
o Prioritise and action repairs within agreed timescales, maintaining strong communication with relevant parties regarding progress.
* Contractor Supervision:
o Supervise and coordinate contractors and auditors, ensuring all permits are in place prior to any work being undertaken.
* Process Improvement:
o Utilise Continuous Improvement (CI) tools and techniques to review and enhance on-site processes.
* HSE Documentation:
o Monitor, review, and update Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) documentation as required.
* Incident Investigation:
o Investigate near misses and accidents on site, ensuring all necessary actions are implemented.
Qualifications:
* Experience:
o Proven experience with TPM, work scheduling, and HSE standards, particularly in a production facilities role.
* CI Expertise:
o Hands-on experience with CI tools and techniques.
* Technical Skills:
o Competence in maintenance tasks and good computer skills, including proficiency with Google, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Communication:
o Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Flexibility:
o Ability to travel between sites and flexibility in working hours.
* Driving Licence:
o Clean driving licence is required.
