Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Performance & Planning Manager to join the Wakefield Data & Analytics Service, part of NHS West Yorkshire ICB to be the senior manager responsible for leading, developing, implementing and managing the ICBs process for operational planning and performance reporting. The role will play a significant role in helping shape the Wakefield District Health and Care Partnership strategy, performance and outcomes framework and local delivery plans - supporting our ambition to drive data led decision making, ensuring insight is used to drive strategic planning and priority setting. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills with a sound knowledge of performance reporting and NHS Operational Planning. Main duties of the job Through stakeholder liaison and excellent organisational skills, you will lead and coordinate the production and delivery of the components associated with the annual planning process, corporate performance reporting structure and support the prioritisation and delivery of business intelligence to key transformational delivery groups. You will coordinate the annual planning process ensuring that this work supports the delivery of the Wakefield District Health and Care Partnership Strategy. Be responsible for the development and submission of the NHS operational plan along with the coordination of performance and delivery plans for in-year assurance review meetings between place Accountable Officers and the regional planning team. You will work closely with colleagues across the system to lead the co-ordination and development of plans to ensure they support the delivery of effective, value for money health services and specifically support a reduction in health inequalities within the population.
