Willen Lake is managed by The Parks Trust, an independent charity, that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes. Our aim is to provide beautiful, diverse and sustainable parks, lakes, woods and landscapes that will be loved by the people of Milton Keynes, forever.
Position
About the role
We’re seeking a passionate, enthusiastic manager to oversee our day to day leisure operation. You’ll work amongst a diverse team at one of Milton Keynes’ most popular family attractions. A core part of the role will be overseeing our Health & Safety responsibilities, ensuring our procedures remain up to date, and that our teams are well trained, enabling them to provide safe, fun and memorable experiences for all our visitors. You will help set and uphold our high standards across the park, and work closely with other department managers to ensure we consistently offer excellent service.
Hours
* This is a permanent post, working 37.5 hours per week. This will involve evening and weekend work, particularly in the season where shift times will vary between 6 am and 10 pm. The candidate must be flexible with working patterns including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
* £35,500 per annum
This role will report into the Executive Director at Willen Lake.
Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Flexibility on working pattern, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
* Good attention to detail, and ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.
* Good understanding of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Teams
* Ability to lead and advise team members with best practice and industry knowledge
* Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline and relevant professional qualifications
* Strong analytical skills
