We’re on the hunt for a passionate and dynamic Product Owner to join the team at Love2shop! If you thrive on driving impactful product initiatives, solving complex challenges, and creating innovative customer solutions, this role is the role for you.
This role demands expertise in managing complex IT changes, removing delivery barriers, and fostering a productive team environment. Additionally, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to build and communicate realistic roadmaps, ensuring the team understands and shares the product vision.
Main Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end delivery of initiatives, making sure our products delight and work well for our customers and exceed business goals.
* Work with stakeholders and engineers to create, prioritize, and deliver standout solutions.
* Shape the future! Align products with company goals, craft roadmaps, and spot opportunities to innovate.
* Champion agile principles to deliver top-quality work on time.
* Hit key deadlines. Keep the team and stakeholders in sync with clear forecasts.
* Lead and inspire a cross-functional team, providing support, mentorship, and an environment where they can thrive.
* Keep things fresh! Encourage learning and tweak processes to ensure the team stays on top of their game.
* Ensure the team has the right tools and setups to deliver.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and third parties to keep everything running smoothly.
* Stay ahead of the curve, ensuring products meet regulatory, security, and company standards.
* Experience as a Delivery Manager and Product Owner within the product's scope, with a strong understanding of the gift card and pre-payment market.
* Proven track record of delivering successful software product changes.
* Hands-on experience managing robust service availability within an ITIL framework.
* Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to determine future actions and assess past decisions.
* Sufficient technical background to understand and challenge plans, designs, and issues within technical projects.
* Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage ambiguity.
* Strong relationship-building skills at all levels of the business and with external teams.
* Experience influencing stakeholders to deliver quality product development within tight deadlines.
* Expert-level knowledge of relevant systems or similar domains.
* People leadership experience, including mentoring cross-functional teams.
* Highly motivated, focused, flexible, and tenacious individual with excellent analysis, organization, and planning skills.
* Detail-oriented, conscientious, and systematic in approach to work.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong presentation skills and ability to present technical content to stakeholders.
* A team player capable of working on own initiative, achieving results under pressure and within demanding deadlines.
Desirable but not essential
* A proven track record of fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance, inspiring teams to grow and excel.
* Hands-on experience delivering solutions in an IBM i platform environment, with a deep understanding of its capabilities.
* Expertise in agile delivery methodologies, including transitioning teams from traditional waterfall approaches to agile ways of working.
* Strong leadership skills in managing geographically distributed and remote teams, ensuring collaboration and cohesion.
* Experience in creating and managing product backlogs, aligning delivery with business strategy, priorities, deadlines, and budgets.
