Applications are invited for a post-doctoral researcher to work with Prof. Michele Vendruscolo at the Centre for Misfolding Diseases, Department of Chemistry, University of Cambridge ( http://www-vendruscolo.ch.cam.ac.uk/ ). The post is to work on a research programme on the analysis of snRNA-seq data of Parkinson's disease. The position will involve the use of a variety of methods in bioinformatics and transcriptomics. The applicant should have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in a relevent specialist subject and a background in bioinformatics, neuroscience, or related disciplines. All candidates should have a keen interest in applying computational methods to complex systems and enjoy working in a highly multidisciplinary, dynamic and collaborative environment.
