Role- Science Teacher Location - Didsbury Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Science T eacher to work in a respected and welcoming secondary school in Didsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher or an experienced teacher to join their dynamic and supportive science department to perhaps excel their teaching career further. It is a full time long term role looking to start in the new academic year in September. The school has great public transport links with access to buses and trams and also to staff car parks. The salary for this role is between £150-£ 200 per day dependent on experience Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Specialism in Chemistry, Physics or Biology is desirable Previous secondary teaching experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure classroom management Passionate about teaching science to encourage and inspire students’ academic abilities K ey R esponsibilities : Prepare students for GCSE science exams by providing high quality learning and confidence in delivering lessons. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for both KS3 and KS4 students. Be confident using practical experiments, real-world example s and technology for the benefit of the students. L aise with different colleagues and staff members to ensure productive learning strategies are being prioritised. Offer targeted interventions for students who may be struggling/ under achieving.
