Health & Social Care Assessor (Higher Apprenticeship) Welsh Speaker
What you’ll do:
We are looking for a passionate individual to deliver and organise training, workshops, and blended learning activities to enable learners to achieve all learning outcomes on the Health & Social Care route whilst meeting requirements of awarding organisations, Welsh Government, Estyn Common Inspection Framework and ACT. This role offers exceptional flexibility, allowing you to enhance your work-life balance. As an Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering training across various routes. You will be directly line-managed by the Health & Social Care Route Manager, ensuring you have the support and guidance needed to excel in your role.
The role will include but not limited to:
1. Training Delivery and Assessment: You will deliver training, assessments, workshops and activities using digital tools that meet the relevant Government bodies, inspection framework and internal standards. Effective management of your caseload and scheduling is crucial for success in this position.
2. Learner Support and Development: You will enhance each learner’s experience, and support, and develop literacy, numeracy, ICT, digital, and employability skills to each learner. You will be expected to deliver, record, and update learning journeys.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: You will be expected to communicate with employers to maintain positive relationships and learner engagement. Follow departmental Internal Quality Assurance procedures to ensure the quality of delivery and progress.
4. Professional Development and Contribution: You will contribute to curriculum development, insight days, and strategic plans to enhance the learner's experience. You will be able to develop your own CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and skills through sector, awarding body, and internal training.
What we need from you:
1. Occupational experience in a senior or management role within the Health & Social Care sector
2. Min. Level 5 occupational qualification or equivalent (in Health & Social Care)
3. A Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
4. Passionate about training/learning with strong creativity
5. Ability to develop others
6. Excellent organisational and communication skills
7. Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
8. Assessor qualification (or willingness to complete)
