Overview:
An exciting new opportunity to join a well established Groundworks and Civil Engineering company specialising in the Highway, Rail and Airport sectors and operating across the South of England. The role offers a large scope for career progression and personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civils & Groundworks, the ability to oversee day to day duties on site and oversee project programmes while visiting various sites and liaising with clients in a mixture of office and site based work.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting with managing projects (programme, H&S, quality)
* Visiting various sites or could be based on one larger project
* Daily liaison with clients
* Daily liaison with site foreman
* Assisting resolving daily project issues
* Liaising with Quantity Surveyor
* RAMS
* Lift plans
* Project programmes
* Lookahead programmes
* ITPs
* Monitoring site progress
* Meetings
* Resource management / planning
* Material call offs
* Material reconciliations
* Record keeping
* Assisting with tenders
* General project administration
Requirements:
* Site experience
* Subcontractor or main contractor experience in the UK
* CSCS
* SSSTS / SMSTS but we can provide this training
* Clean driving licence
* Good communication skill
* Ability to produce programmes
