The successful candidate will be tasked with managing the outstanding credit balances of our clients within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. Description Managing outstanding credit balances and reducing debtor days. Ensuring timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments. Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment. Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices. Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems. Checking and approving credit notes prepared by other departments. Providing accounts information to internal departments as needed. Profile A successful Credit Controller should have: A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. Experience in a Credit Control role within the FMCG industry. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Good working knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
