Employment type: Permanent full-time/ part-time.
Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full
- time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part
- time approach where possible.Salary: c. £50,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

We're looking for a dynamic Community Relations Manager to support the Sizewell C Project, building meaningful connections with the Suffolk community and enhancing understanding and support for this exciting venture.
Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.
About the Role:
As the Community Relations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of stakeholder engagement, working with local councils, residents, and community partners to foster strong relationships and keep the community informed about Sizewell C's progress. This role goes beyond communications—you’ll advocate for community interests, propose solutions to concerns, and ensure that community voices are heard and valued.
What You’ll Do:
Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and build relationships with community leaders, parish councils, and local groups, ensuring they are informed, engaged, and supportive.
Community Support: Respond to community feedback and offer solutions, creating transparency and trust around the project’s developments.
Communications & Advocacy: Manage key communications, from community newsletters to public forums, and support a network of Sizewell C advocates.
Collaboration: Work closely with our Senior Manager for Community Relations and partner agencies to develop community publications and deliver presentations that inspire and inform.
Your Impact:
In this role, you’ll help shape the future of the Sizewell C Project by:
Developing a robust network of community support, known as “Friends of Sizewell C.”
Delivering clear, honest updates on project milestones, keeping local residents and partners informed.
Creating a positive understanding of the Sizewell C Project’s benefits, from sustainable energy to economic growth.
What We’re Looking For:
Excellent stakeholder engagement or community relations experience.
Proven experience engaging diverse groups, including residents, councils, and policymakers.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to deliver challenging messages with empathy and clarity.
Event management experience with the ability to talk about complex projects in an accessible way.
Integrity and a commitment to confidentiality.
Desirable but Not Essential:
Political acumen and familiarity with media engagement.
Ability to juggle multiple projects within a fast-paced team environment.
