Role: The Senior Team Leader will be responsible for leading their team and for the safe running of the Production Department. The Senior Team Leader will ensure the team operates efficiently by distributing labour; following the allocated plan to achieve business targets through customer demand. Responsibilities: Undertake Shift handover Distribute labour to the allocated daily plan, including tool change priorities Facilitate daily shift kick start meeting Audit and verify machines and operators to ensure compliance to health & safety, environmental, quality and production targets Lead the daily operations SQCPE meeting Ensure production monitoring system is accurate and updated regularly Assess breakdowns, fix and or report via the job card system where required Ensure completion of housekeeping audit Ensure all samples and completed paperwork are submitted to the quality department for testing Ensure all TPM activities are completed Ensure correct information is submitted for shift report Deliver a robust and efficient localised process for workplace organisation. Use lean tools and techniques to drive sustainable solutions – 5s/Kanban/TPM/SMED. Drive visual workplace organisation along with housekeeping standards. Requirements: GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or Equivalent Leadership Qualification with CMI or equivalent would be desirable. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential Previous experience leading a team is essential Experience CI Understand business processes and be computer literate. Including MS packages.
