Working closely with the Project Manager and Commissioning Engineer to ensure common understanding and prioritisation of work contributing to the overall successful delivery of projects on site. Understand the design concept from initial designs and develop them into detailed deliverable solutions. Attendance at design review meetings and factory acceptance tests, to ensure all specified and purchased hardware meets the required standard. Key Responsibilities Proficient use of IT and relevant software such as Microsoft Project (Programme) CAD, Power BI, and Office Suite. Site documentation – HSQE & CDM, RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements) Issuing & Receiving – Permits to Work Costing & Procurement of materials and coordinating deliveries. Creating and updating technical documentation, reports, and specifications Checking and preparing site drawings, designs, and reports. Understanding volumes, sizing & measurements Liaising with the client site Operations Team to Plan & Submit PIPs (PLANT INTERFACE PLANS) Creating work plans & Schedules in Microsoft Project Planning of plant shutdowns & isolations involving hydraulics, mechanical & electrical plant, machinery, pipework, pumps and control valves. Understanding implementing on-site IDC (Inter-Disciplinary Coordination) Where varying disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical & Civil Engineering teams are working together. Site Quality Control & Quality Reports Testing & Commissioning Solving site breakdowns, engineering, or manufacturing problems Coordination of ‘As-Built’ drawings and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals Following and adhering to documentation control processes Key Relationships: Designers, Project Managers, Commissioning Engineers, Site Teams, Clients Regional HSEQ team Communication team About you Essential: Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Competency in the use of Office Suite (Word/Excel etc) Driving Licence Desirable: An engaging communicator with problem-solving skills.
