NWM/482 Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm) Salary: £31,852 per annum Location: Sale Road, Norwich, NR7 9TP with travel to other sites in and around Norfolk and Waveney as and when required. The role will require travel therefore a driver’s license and access to a vehicle essential for this role. Mileage is paid at 45p per mile for cars after your home to work base mileage is deducted. The Role You will be responsible for the organisation's working practices, procedures and compliance in respect of Data Protection, working directly to the Head of ICT. You will be working alongside staff across the organisation, including operational managers and the Executive Team. The Role and what we are looking for You will be the organisation's expert on issues relating to Information Governance and Data Protection, and as such will develop and maintain best practice policies and procedures across the organisation working closely with staff at all levels. You will provide on-going training and awareness to staff to promote a positive culture of compliance, which will be evidenced within the submission of the annual Data Security & Protection Toolkit. You will also work closely with the BI Analyst in respect of the use of our new client management system. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working with Data Protection legislation and guidance and excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence staff at all levels of the organisation.
