An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to join a well-established organisation on a three-month temporary basis. This role is ideal for a proactive and organised individual with strong leadership skills and a background in facilities management.
Role Overview:
Reporting to senior management, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of services, ensuring a high standard of service delivery across cleaning, portering, reception, and postal services. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage cleaning, reception, postal, and portering services
2. Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards
3. Lead and support a team to deliver a high-quality facilities service
4. Manage contractor relationships and ensure compliance with service agreements
5. Monitor stock levels and oversee the procurement of cleaning and maintenance supplies
6. Maintain excellent communication with internal stakeholders to address facilities-related concerns efficiently
Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience in facilities management within a similar setting
2. Strong leadership and organisational skills
3. Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
4. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance requirements
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
