We’re looking for a Finance Administrator to join us in Manchester as part of our Record to Report team. This team is responsible for the processing of redemptions (both internal and external) and other associate financial transactions into and out of the business; making sure that the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA’s) account rules are followed.
As a Finance Administrator at Co-op, we’ll look to you to complete financial case transactions for our Funeralcare business area, ensuring agreed service levels are met within this highly regulated environment. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a breadth of knowledge within finance operations and collaborate with our wider Co-op teams.
What you’ll do
* Process various payments including daily BACS and co-ordinate transfers between accounts
* Produce balance sheet reconciliations and take ownership of daily redemptions
* Drive data-driven insights by collecting and analysing statistical information that helps guide strategic decision-making across the organisation
* Make sure all transactions are processed accurately in line with the FCA’s account rules
* Answer queries from colleagues via a shared inbox
This role would suit people who have
* Previous experience in a finance role, with the ability to develop solutions to financial problems
* A strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your work
* Basic Microsoft Excel skills
* Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate as part of a team
* A proactive approach and the ability to adapt to change
