Job Summary
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to hold a caseload working with those leaving custodial settings, supporting assessments, duty, and groups in a thriving service. The role involves making positive changes in people's lives through a non-judgmental, recovery-based approach that values individuals' strengths and choices.

The main purpose is to provide excellent care to individuals leaving custodial settings who will use our service for substance use treatment and complex needs, in partnership with our clinical team, counselors, and other professionals.
You should have in-depth knowledge and experience of challenges faced by people with substance use and related health issues.
As part of a dynamic team, you will manage a caseload, including prescribing, providing quality interventions at various recovery stages, and developing/delivering diverse groups.
The duties are varied; no two days are the same.

The Service
Adult Drug and Alcohol Services across Gloucestershire transferred to Via on 1st April 2024. This role is part of Via’s new criminal justice service structure, offering opportunities to build on existing strengths, drive new developments, and make a positive impact.
Location
This is a county-wide role, primarily based in Gloucester.
