Due to the expansion of our projects division based at our Caerphilly Head Office, we have identified the opportunity for a trainee finance/office assistant to join our team. This opportunity will give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop a career in a finance office administration role supporting the office manager and the administration team to include purchase ledger administration and general office administration.
Based at our dynamic Caerphilly office, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals.
This is an entry level position we are not looking for bags of experience, but we are looking for bags of potential.
You will play a pivotal role in assisting our accounts and finance team and will provide critical support to the office manager.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience and assist in duties such as purchase ledger administration and general office administration. With opportunities to grow and progress.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be expected to assist in all general office daily tasks across all departments within the business to include but not limited to.
- Filing.
- sourcing/booking hotels.
- booking training courses.
- company vehicles administration, tracking and associated reporting (email/excel).
- completing timesheets for site teams (Excel).
- General office administration.
- Purchase ledger administration
The ideal candidate will:

- Strong IT skills with a particular understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrate the ability to drive and maintain standards
- The successful candidate will also be expected to assist in all general office daily tasks across all departments in the business providing holiday cover for team members
Qualifications required.
GCSE’s – Math, English – grade C or above
40 Hour working week.
Salary – Meets NLW requirements for Age.
Please also note that we will be conducting a staged interview process with shortlisted candidate interviews, where all candidates will be required to take a numeracy and literacy test during the interview.
