Compliance Manager - Facilities Management - Stevenage - Up to £67,000 DOE Plus excellent benefits
This company, a National player in the FM world, requires a Compliance Manager to be based at their prestigious client site in Stevenage. An outstanding opportunity to become part of a truly first-rate facility and play an integral role in the delivery of efficient and compliant quality management within a facilities management operation.
Salary: Up to £67,000 DOE plus overtime plus excellent benefits

Location: Stevenage
Hours of work: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Role Responsibilities:
1. Management of the Compliance Team, to ensure efficient and effective management systems of control across the Contract and adherence to all governing legislation and accreditation (e.g., 9001, 14001, and 18001).
2. Ensure engineers responsible for legal compliance are held to account for their areas of expertise, including High/Low Voltage electrical distribution, Pressure Systems (including steam, high temperature hot water, etc.), Confined Spaces, Gas (Gas Safe) & Oil (OFTECH), Water Quality and Legionella Prevention, FGas, NICEIC.
3. Assess the experience, training, and competence of Compliance and Authorised Persons, in conjunction with the Engineering Manager (Technical).
4. Manage the auditing and monitoring regimes associated with the company and customer Safe System of Work and other management systems.
5. Establish KPIs, using them and other information to prepare compliance reports.
6. Review Compliance inspection reports and recommend appropriate courses of action.
7. Provide managerial, technical, and engineering support as necessary to ensure the Business Stream Authorised Persons can carry out their duties.
8. Ensure that all systems and procedures meet the requirements of the customer regulated environment.
The successful candidate:
1. Ideally HND or Graduate level candidate with technical background and extensive experience in Compliance, working towards professional qualifications.
2. Qualified to NEBOSH Certificate level or equivalent or working towards that level.
3. Detailed understanding of legislation and industry standards and their practical application, as well as a working knowledge of other QHSEW issues within Facilities Management.
4. Report writing experience.
5. Good customer/client interpersonal skills (including presentation skills).
6. Competent user in IT systems.
7. Audit experience.
8. Good people management, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
9. Pharmaceutical related experience is essential.
10. Good communicator with the ability to liaise with the customer on a daily basis.
11. Resilient under pressure and able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers, and customers at all levels.
