The project: Our multidisciplinary design and technical advisory team is part of Mace's consultancy technical services. Our design team includes architects, architectural technologists, engineers, urban designers, master planners, and interior designers. We deliver projects nationally for both public and private sectors including government departments, local authorities, and private developers. Mace is currently recruiting qualified architects for our central government team to support our lead designers in the delivery of their projects consisting of new builds, extensions, remodels, and refurbishments with project values between £500k and £250m. The role is UK based and we welcome applications from all UK regions.

You'll be responsible for:
* Developing and managing pre-construction design
* Providing technical advisory role post tender
* Seeking opportunities for continuous improvements/improving working processes.
* Developing effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Managing stakeholders.
* Providing designs and manages the developing design as per contract requirements.
* Collaborating with the wider design disciplines, client personnel, and construction teams.
* Assisting with the production of reporting information.
* Attending/participating in client meetings and design workshops as necessary.
* Monitoring work outputs to ensure it is timely, in scope, and of a quality expected.
* Engaging with business improvement directives.
* Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and shares responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
* Demonstrating knowledge of technical and statutory regulations.
* Demonstrating Revit proficiency.
* Demonstrating ISO 19650 knowledge.
You'll need to have:
* Part 3 qualified, ARB or ICAT registered.
* Digitally savvy, especially in using BIM and Revit software and can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams.
* Experience in public and private sector projects in a multidisciplinary design team within consultancy technical services background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
