Are you passionate about shaping the future of women's football? Birmingham City Women’s Team is seeking a dedicated Assistant Head Coach to join our high-performance environment. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in driving on-field success and developing our players' full potential. Key Responsibilities: Team Development: Work alongside the Head Coach to build and lead a successful first team, implement match-day strategies, and ensure high coaching standards Player Support: Attend all training sessions and matches, manage individual development plans, support player transitions, and collaborate with the MDT staff for holistic player development Strategic Analysis: Review and analyse team and opposition strategies, and work with recruitment to identify potential signings Compliance and Welfare: Ensure adherence to FA rules, respect guidelines, and prioritize the wellbeing and welfare of players and staff Representation: Represent Birmingham City Women FC professionally and adhere to all policies and procedures What We’re Looking For: Experience at WSL or equivalent level Proven track record of coaching and mentoring both elite and emerging players Ability to inspire, develop talent, and create optimal learning environments Understanding of diversity and commitment to the long-term growth of the game Demonstrated high performance in professional settings Qualifications: Essential: UEFA A Licence, FA Licenced Coach Desirable: UEFA Pro Licence, experience in coach mentoring, FA Advanced Youth Award Additional Information: Flexibility in working hours is essential, as the role includes evenings and weekends Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
