The Role
This role is vital in managing TalkTalk Business existing customers with the purpose of retaining and growing revenue alongside attracting new business, collaborating with all other internal departments working towards a common positive goal for all our customers.
Your customer base will consist of up to 100 business customers who will generally have 200 employees or more.
You will be a trusted advisor to your client base, selling a wide spectrum of solutions ranging from Broadband connectivity and our hosted Voice portfolio to the more complex multi-site WAN solutions as well as working with our customers to build personalised, bespoke packages to meet their requirements (including LAN, Wi-Fi, IoT, Contact Centre solutions, Professional Services & Managed networks to name a few).
Responsibilities
* To retain and drive growth within the existing TalkTalk Business customer base, through selling TalkTalk’s converged Voice, Data, Network and Security portfolio and all new solutions as they are on-boarded.
* Identify growth opportunities within your customer base and lead regular customer meetings to develop wallet share and win new business through referrals and lead generation.
* Operate within accounts from C-Suite level down, leveraging and developing new relationships.
* Consistently achieve activity and sales targets.
Skills and experience we are looking for
* An experienced sales professional with a strong background in account management, preferably in the Telecommunications sector.
* Proven ability to think strategically to retain and grow revenue within existing customer base through relationships with customer at all levels, including C-Suite level.
* Excellent business acumen and understanding of business drivers with the ability to articulate value propositions to customers (written and orally).
* Experience in managing customer satisfaction and resolving issues in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders across the organisation.
* Knowledge of market trends, Telecoms solutions and commitment to ongoing product knowledge development.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales methodologies.
