We are currently seeking a SEND Teacher to join our team at our post-16 SEN college in Uxbridge. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering engaging, student-centered lessons that meet the unique needs of your students
- Creating a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential
- Collaborating with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure that every student receives the individualized support they need
- Monitoring and tracking student progress to ensure that they are making meaningful progress towards their goals
- Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and innovations in the field of PMLD education
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, etc.)
- Experience teaching students with SENDin a post-16 SEN college setting
- A working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and other relevant legislation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- A commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equality in education
