Senior Early Help Support Worker
Balsall Heath, Birmingham
Salary - £25,400 pro rata
Contract type - Fixed Term - March 2027
Working hours - Part time 30 hours

About the role
We are recruiting a Senior Early Help Support Worker based in Balsall Heath, Birmingham. The role aims to positively impact children, young people, and families in Hall Green and Selly Oak, fostering:
* Healthy, happy, resilient children and families.
* Support for families to make positive changes.
* Children attending, learning, and achieving at school.
* Young people prepared for and contributing to adult life.
* Children and young people protected from harm.
This role involves providing flexible, practical, documented family support aligned with the Early Help contract and the Right Help Right Time framework. You will deliver early intervention initiatives to build resilience among families and young people, focusing on their needs and risks.
Please note that a DBS check is required for successful candidates. Further details will be provided after an offer.
About you
You must have NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health and Social Care, with experience in Early Help and Multi Agency working. Familiarity with GDPR, safeguarding, data protection, and qualifications in Safeguarding, child development, SEND, and Family Support is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust are also required.
