POSITION SUMMARY
The Creative Operations Project Manager is a visionary leader who combines artistic vision with strategic project management, ensuring innovative ideas are transformed into impactful deliverables. This role thrives at the crossroads of creativity and efficiency, overseeing the development of creative projects from concept to completion while managing timelines, resources, and budgets. Acting as the central hub for creative workflows, they prioritize and traffic projects, ensuring tasks are delegated effectively and deadlines are met to ensure high-quality, impactful results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Oversee the creative process, ensuring an efficient flow of projects through the team by managing workloads, priorities, and deadlines.
2. Plan, manage, and execute creative projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budgets, and timelines.
3. Ensure that all creative outputs align with the vision and strategic direction set by the Director of Creative Operations.
4. Act as a brand ambassador ensuring all creative deliverables meet brand standards.
5. Establish and maintain processes for traffic management, prioritizing incoming requests, and reallocating resources as needed.
6. Serve as the primary point of contact between creative teams, marketing teams, and other stakeholders.
7. Coordinate, review and approve assets for credit union monthly statements.
8. Provide project management and marketing expertise support to critical credit union functions.
9. Coordinate and manage creative content for digital displays across the organization.
10. Serve as a backup designer for the creative team.
11. Facilitate regular status meetings, creative reviews, and feedback loops.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
1. Exceptional project management and organizational skills with careful attention to detail.
2. Action-oriented, energetic and welcomes challenges.
3. Possesses a keen creative eye, able to identify and describe quality creative work.
4. Ability to articulate challenging-to-convey topics such as the psychology behind creative feedback.
5. Collaborates proactively and effectively with marketing team and other cross functional team members.
6. Decisive and resourceful: ability to make sound decisions and find creative solutions to blockers.
7. Deals with concepts and complexity comfortably.
8. Quickly finds common ground and resolves problems for the benefit of all.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Project Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5+ years working in project management within a professional creative environment.
3. Significant experience working with cross-functional teams.
4. Familiarity with creative processes, design principles, and brand management.
5. Proven excellence with productivity tools including Jira and Smartsheet.
6. Knowledge and experience with the Agile working philosophy.
7. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
9. Familiarity with the financial services industry a plus.
10. Comfortable working in a Mac environment.
WORK ARRANGEMENT: The working arrangement for this position is hybrid.
