The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and promising individual eager to gain experience in a legal office or expand upon their existing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties, seen below.
Main Duties:
* Provide support and assistance in the smooth and efficient running of the Accounts Department.
* Issue of cheques in accordance with instructions received.
* Posting of ‘chits’ relating to client account transactions.
* Daily bankings.
* Verification of Completion Statements.
* Checking of bills.
* Arrange for client monies to be transferred to the Undesignated Deposit Accounts (daily movement of monies from/to Bank of Scotland). Inputting of transactions onto HSBCnet online banking system.
* Taking card payments for clients in person and over the telephone.
Required: At least 3 months experience working in an accounts role. Training will also be provided to enhance previously gained knowledge and understanding.
