W are looking for a Registered Manager to join the team at a Children’s Home based in Wallington the salary is up to £65000 depending on qualifications and experince. The hours are 9-18 Monday to Friday with on call duties there are many benefits such as monthly bonus. You will hold legal responsibility for the registered children’s home and manage all aspects of the effective management of the home, keeping compliance with Ofsted regulatory obligations. You will ensure and uphold a person-centered approach is formed and applied across the service, putting the needs of the service users at the centre of the excellent service delivery. You will manage the day to day running of the home and oversee Ofsted Visits & Audits including Reg 44 monthly visits and oversee and contribute to the development, application and checking of the young person’s care plan You will assess, and plan for the needs of the children through efficient care planning processes and inspire and motivate the team to maintain high standards of service delivery. You will maintain a high quality and pleasant living environment which is helpful and beneficial to meeting the need of the service user and oversee all reporting and recording within the home. You will manage staff rotas and staff training by facilitating participation in training and development of the care team and assist staff to understand the importance of training to their roles and responsibilities and support new staff members with a thorough induction to the service You must have knowledge on how to do Pathways, Risk Assessment, Care Plan, Health & Safety Checks etc. and manage multi agency working relationships and ensure effective communication with all concerned is maintained. You will liaise/ meet with professionals to ensure the service user needs are met. You will target and secure new referrer relationships for existing/new facilities and build multi-level relationships with external services. You will adhere to professional standards and legislation in relation to Ofsted requirements and relevant legal and statutory requirements including the Data Protection Act (always ensuring appropriate level of confidentiality), Health and Safety at Work Act and any other relevant law/legislation.
