Job Title: Product Development & Testing Engineer Lead the Future of Power Protection Job Location: Sheffield Pay Range: £neg based on experience Contract Type: Permanent Our Client are a leading expert in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) solutions With many years of experience within delivering power protection including on site services. Our client takes pride on their rapid response and customer service they provide. As our Product Development & Testing Engineer, you will play a key role in researching, testing, and developing both new and existing products and services. Acting as a technical escalation point ensuring all engineering activities that comply with health and safety legislation and industry best practices. What you’ll be doing Liaising with overseas supply chains to enhance the product range whilst diagnosing technical issues Overseeing the product documentation, managing the compliance on the products and providing technical assistance both remotely and onsite Act as an escalation point for technical queries and fault resolution (NWH & OOH) Research, test, and develop new and existing products and services Ensure continuous technical training for both engineering and office staff Complete in-house system configuration before dispatch to site Provide technical support to customers and engineers both remotely and onsite Manage engineer compliance, including tool calibration and certification expiry tracking Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, and repairing UPS and battery systems, emergency lighting inverters, etc Experience working with multiple UPS manufacturers/brands Relevant electrical and health & safety qualifications Strong organisational skills & a passion for continuous improvement What we can offer Join a team of dynamic, highly skilled and ambitious people with the chance to make an impact in the industry’s Leading Experts in power protection.
