Content Executive Are you as excited as we are about content? We are looking for someone to join our busy digital content team within Customer Experience, focussing on our Away From Home proposition. You must have a real passion and talent for all things content and editorial. You should be organised, creative and collaborative, have good copywriting skills and a knowledge of SEO best practice. A great attention to detail is needed, while bags of enthusiasm and a desire to learn is welcome. About the role This is an exciting and varied role where you will be working as part of the Content Team at IGD, supporting the Content Managers in creating, preparing, managing, analysing, and publishing content for IGD’s digital portfolio. The responsibilities Reporting into the Content Manager, your responsibilities will include: Content publishing and management Working in our content management system (CMS) you will publish (often daily) across IGD’s website and assisting in managing the website in general Working with Content Managers and stakeholders to prepare and publish and, where required, support in writing content You will also work to support the content team in stakeholder management, working cross-functionally across IGD, and being an ambassador for our content strategy You’ll be required to report back on performance and be able to take a brief and turn it into the finished article Look to continuously improve the quality of content experience for our users Be able to multi-task, plan, and work under your own steam in a varied workflow and juggle priorities A large part of this job is to lead the content side of the launch of our Away From Home proposition, ensuring good communication and relationships are kept, requirements are met, best practice followed, and deadlines adhered to There is also a significant amount of work in managing our photograph output for galleries Be prepared to be busy Analyse and report on the performance of the pages and content Managing quality and best practice Proofing and editing work in line with IGD’s tone of voice and style guides to ensure the quality and SEO best practice are met. Assisting in the management of content across the site including building new pages Managing content repositories, taxonomies, and metadata in the back end of the sites, including image libraries. Creating and updating content (including all imagery) using agreed templates and formats Formatting presentations, updating profiles and snapshots, using datacentre information, if necessary and our analytics platform to disseminate performance You will be expected to contribute to other duties required by the organisation from time to time What you bring Qualification and / or background in content-related field such as journalism, media, or content management Experience in content management and content planning and a history of working with content management systems Knowledge of SEO, tagging systems and metadata A knowledge of accessibility, writing for the web, and image management Some knowledge of html A team player with a flexible attitude and reliability with good interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure, to deliver work accurately and to deadline An excellent communicator with a very high standard of written and spoken English The rewards We offer a range of benefits, including a market leading pension, a bonus scheme, the ability to buy and sell annual leave plus a generous medical insurance package.
