About the role
We have two fantastic opportunities for Area Sales Managers to join our dynamic team at the largest John Deere Turf dealership in Europe! You will be working with our industry-leading franchises including John Deere, Club Car, Turco and Wiedenmann.
One position will be based at our Twyford depot covering the Berkshire area, the other will be based at our Milton Common Head Office covering the Oxfordshire area.
Key tasks include:
1. To plan, control and drive sales by fully utilising our CRM tool (MS Dynamics).
2. To achieve sales targets set by the Golf & Turf Business Director: sales volumes, gross profit, sales mix.
3. To ensure customer and company relations are maintained at a high standard at all times.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the professional groundcare machinery industry as well as previous Sales experience. However, we will consider applicants with other relevant knowledge and experience (such as Golf industry experience with knowledge of the associated machinery).
Skills required
* A full driving license is essential.
* Knowledge and understanding of Groundcare machinery is essential.
* Previous experience of working within a John Deere or other Agricultural/Groundcare machinery dealership is preferred.
* Previous Sales experience is essential.
* Familiarity with the geographical area in which you will be working.
* Very strong IT skills with the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new software and systems.
* Must have the ability to self-motivate and work individually, managing your own workload and also able to work as part of a team.
