NHS Ayrshire and Arran are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to provide sessional input into a developing Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Team.
The successful candidate will support other members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to develop an EIP Service within Ayrshire and Arran as part of a Pathfinding Project. The role includes developing clinical pathways for EIP and providing direct clinical care to patients experiencing first-episode psychosis, including assessment and management.
Applicants must have a CCT in General Adult Psychiatry and Section 22 Approval under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003. Prior experience working within an EIP Service is desirable.
