Location: Bolton Salary: Grade 5 (£36,340 - £40,540) Basis: Full Time Contracted Hours: 36 Hours Package: Fixed Term Contract Maternity Cover (9-10 months) Working Pattern: Monday - Friday Why is the role important? This role delivers the Sanctuary Plus Service, commissioned by Bolton Council. It is essential in providing personal support to individuals experiencing domestic abuse, reducing the number of unsuccessful tenancies, and supporting our broader commitments to complex dependency in Bolton. Through collaboration with various stakeholders, the role ensures that customers with complex needs can effectively manage their tenancies. Key Outcomes Deliver the commissioned Sanctuary Plus Service throughout Bolton. Support in the delivery and development of domestic abuse policies and procedures. Collaborate and promote effective multi-agency cooperation to ensure customers needs are meet to a high standard. Represent the Organisation in meetings and forums to ensure a coordinated response to domestic abuse. Assist in delivering tailored training and raising awareness for all stakeholder agencies. Whats involved? Assess customers referred to the Sanctuary Plus Service. Create, monitor, and manage tailored support plans for victims of domestic abuse, including conducting enhanced support assessments and delivering effective support interventions. Identify customers experiencing domestic abuse through risk assessment and support processes. Determine, monitor, and respond to any emerging issues, such as safeguarding alerts, through regular home visits and contact. Recognise failure to adhere to conditions of tenancy, including making recommendations for legal action. Support teams across the Organisation in the management of domestic abuse cases.
