Job Description
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer details in the financial system.
* Conducting credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits.
* Chasing overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales.
* Liaising with customers to resolve outstanding queries.
* Reviewing customer accounts and initiating appropriate action.
* Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems.
* Assisting with month-end reporting.
* Working in line with company policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* An understanding of credit control procedures and principles.
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
