What do our Digital Account Managers do? The account managers are the integral part of our business that links our clients to our teams. They are responsible for managing client relationships, understanding our client's digital marketing needs, and ensuring the successful execution of digital campaigns across various channels. They act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and communicating effectively throughout the entire process.
Key Responsibilities for the Digital Account Manager:
1. Project Management of key clients; organisation is key to ensuring smooth, concise client relationships and service.
2. Delivery of high-quality projects, ensuring they are on time, on budget and to the agreed specification.
3. Ensuring work is delivered to the highest of standards and is thoroughly tested.
4. Ensuring that internal stakeholders are regularly communicated with and updated on the progress of digital projects.
5. Managing budgets and scope of work.
6. Developing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
7. Contributing to client proposals and quotes.
8. Scheduling and hosting project kick-off meetings, along with frequent check-ins.
9. Assigning tasks and responsibilities, utilising agency level project management software.
10. Monitoring project progress and clearing roadblocks.
11. Double-checking all project deliverables for accuracy.
12. Sending progress updates to clients.
13. Delivering the final project and summary to the client.
Key Skills and Experience for the Digital Account Manager:
1. 2 years minimum agency and/or account management experience in a digital delivery environment.
2. Background in digital marketing, or a very strong desire to work within a digital marketing environment.
3. Strong communication and networking skills with a highly optimistic attitude and natural curiosity.
4. Highly resilient with a self-starter attitude.
5. Emotional intelligence and natural empathy.
