Are you passionate about supporting young learners? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Stoke. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the classroom teacher to support the academic and social development of students, assist with classroom activities, and provide additional support to children who may need extra help. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a difference in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the delivery of lessons, providing one-on-one and small group support.
* Help to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
* Support students with their personal and social development.
* Work with children with special educational needs (SEN) under the guidance of the class teacher.
Requirements:
* Experience working with primary-aged children, either in a school setting or through other child-focused roles.
* A positive and proactive attitude.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred (but not essential).
