Location: This role provides remote and flexible working as well as working within the Council Offices, subject to business need.
Description
The Resources Casework Team are seeking to employ a caseworker to undertake corporate support related tasks.
We are looking for a confident, approachable and organised individual who will complement our existing team, dealing with a range of enquiries using existing processes to provide support predominantly to our Corporate Leadership Team and Members. You will be involved in a wide range of business support requests.
About this role
1. Ensuring accurate, professional and timely case management business support is provided to internal customers to support business needs.
2. Assisting to ensure the provision of fit for purpose support services systems and processes.
3. Ensuring strict confidentiality is maintained, and data protection rules are followed.
4. Promoting understanding of case management processes and systems across the council.
5. Identifying improvements in customer and service provision.
6. Undertaking less complex clerical tasks that require an understanding of relevant service processes, regulations and legislation.
7. To demonstrate significant depth or breadth in case ownership through one of the following:
1. Acting as lead case owner in one area of specialism, personally owning the resolution of some complex cases, and assisting with the design and development of tools and guidance notes which enable the team to self-serve and widen their knowledge.
2. Developing a breadth of knowledge, owning non-complex cases across multiple services where significant functional knowledge and skills are required.
Will occasionally refer to a Business Partner for advice and along with some requirement to work with Resources Specialists.
