NRL are working with a leading E&I contractor who now require an Electrical Field Engineer to join a long term project in Essex.
You must be a self- starter with the initiative and skills to manage his/her workload to meet necessary deadlines.
Excellent time management, prioritising and communications skills are essential.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
1. Prepare technical submittals
2. Prepare builders work drawings
3. Scheduling and tracking of the project
4. Prepare record drawings
5. Preparation of design drawings
6. Alterations to working drawings.
7. Creation of installed drawings and O&M Manuals.
8. Processing requisitions, generation of purchase orders and confirm delivery to site
9. Contact with suppliers to obtain most cost-effective order price
10. Organising draft contracts and quotes
11. Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
12. Ensure project profitability
13. Reviewing project documentation, drawings and calculations as required
14. All other duties associated with this role
SKILLS REQUIRED:
15. A minimum of 5 years as an Electrical Engineer
16. Proven record of co-ordinating on projects
17. Knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel, Autocad, MS Project
18. Excellent communication skills
19. Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
20. Ability to drive a large-scale project
