Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Channel Development Manager to strengthen and grow our indirect channel partnerships within the telecommunications and IT sectors. This role is central to our growth strategy, focusing on onboarding new partners while maximising revenue and profitability from our existing partner network.
As a key player in our business development function, you will take ownership of nurturing partner relationships, driving go-to-market activity, and ensuring mutual success through strong commercial and strategic alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive Revenue Growth: Generate sales within existing partner accounts through effective upselling, cross-selling, and strategic engagement.
* New Partner Acquisition: Identify, approach, and onboard new partners to expand our channel network.
* Account Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for your partner portfolio, ensuring a responsive and solutions-led approach.
* Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with both external partners and internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
* Strategic Enablement: Create and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies that generate net new sales opportunities for channel partners.
* Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain an accurate and active sales pipeline, contributing to forecasting and reporting cycles.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven track record managing a significant partner or account base within the Cloud Distribution space—ideally with a vendor, distributor, or reseller.
* Strong experience in B2B account management, channel sales, or partner development roles.
* Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills and a clear focus on driving profitability.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience using CRM systems—HubSpot experience preferred.
