Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working Clerical Officer / Receptionist in the Endoscopy Department in support of the endoscopy services provided on both Freeman and Royal Victoria Infirmary sites. The role will be predominantly based at the RVI but will also be expected to support the Freeman Hospital Endoscopy Department as required. The successful applicants should have excellent customer care and communication skills, a confident telephone manner, good IT skills, show attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, have the ability to use their own initiative and have previous experience of working in a fast paced office environment. Working well as part of a team and a positive proactive attitude is essential. You will be expected to organise and prioritise your own workload and this will require you to be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the service. You will be working closely with patients, clinical and non-clinical colleagues, providing a comprehensive reception service for the Endoscopy Department.
