Description Consult with ITSC (IT Service Centre) on validation reporting and work collaboratively to maintain the accuracy of the hardware asset database. Ticket queue management dealing with requests for license purchases, upcoming renewals and general queries (Jira, JSM (Jira Service Management)). Conducting license usage and compliance reviews as needed. Reviewing contractual terms and ensuring IT onboarding processes are followed. Working with security and infrastructure teams on ITAM related activities such as compliance reviews or support renewals. Liaising with internal teams including Procurement and Finance, and external Suppliers for hardware and software queries. Reconciling asset disposal reports. Review ITAM related purchases, capture entitlement and update contracts tracker and Definitive Software Library. Assisting with creating and maintaining process documentation, regularly review processes and promote continuous improvement. Assist with maintaining audit-ready position for key software publishers. Covering FinOps reporting when the FinOps Analyst is on leave. Basics or willingness to learn FinOps lifecycle concepts and promote the ITFM teams' asset lifecycle services to the business working together on challenges and shared objectives. Staying up to date on industry news and actively highlighting any changes that could impact the business to the relevant stakeholders. Qualifications You have experience in a previous IT Asset Management role managing hardware and/or software licensing and appropriate contracts and suppliers. You are a self-starter with enthusiasm, initiative, and drive to learn and continually improve. You enjoy working autonomously and independently, taking responsibility for and ownership of the asset portfolio under your care. You will have worked with colleagues across technology functions on successful projects and/or programmes. You will have a basic understanding of FinOps. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to operate well in an Agile delivery framework. Strong interest in developing industry leading blended ITFM (ITAM & FinOps) function and optimising or automating current processes. Minimum criteria: Experience in an IT Asset Management role (hardware an advantage). Experience of working with service desk tools (JSM). Excellent stakeholder engagement, organisation, and communication skills. Familiarity with or willingness to learn Analytics tools e.g. Power BI, Power Automate.
