Regional Sales Manager
Home/Field Based (UK & Ireland)
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and growing market share? We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to develop and maximise sales across the UK & Ireland, targeting key customers including local authorities, transport authorities, distributors, and merchants. This role offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and overall profitability in an exciting and dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify Opportunities: Proactively seek out early-stage opportunities for our products on projects and schemes, positioning our company as the preferred product supplier.
* Build Relationships: Cultivate long-term relationships with key industry professionals, including transport authorities, architects, and rail authorities, to raise product awareness and sales.
* Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts by product.
* Product Presentations: Articulate the benefits of our products to potential clients, trade authorities, and highways agencies.
* Market Expansion: Identify and develop strategies to exploit new market segments for our product range.
* Customer Support: Provide technical support to existing customers, offering guidance on product selection and application.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical and Customer Field Support teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
* Competitive Intelligence: Gather valuable customer and competitor information to inform decision-making.
* CRM Management: Maintain and update the CRM system for the region.
* Coordination: Coordinate with Customer Service on delivery and order issues.
* Reporting: Complete and submit reports on customer visits, team performance, and other activities in a timely and accurate manner.
What We Are Looking For:
* Proven experience in field sales, key account management, and market expansion
* Strong track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets
* Ability to manage customer relationships effectively
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Excellent multitasking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
* Self-motivated with the ability to think strategically and work independently
* Ability to travel extensively and stay overnight when required
* Valid UK driving license
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience with road marking materials
* CRM system experience
