We are looking for support staff who are experienced in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism in a person-centred way.
We are looking for a staffing team who are positive about following care and behaviour plans, use of visuals, now and next cards, and planners in order to build up stable and meaningful routines, enhance our service users understanding of their surroundings and their involvement in decision making.

Purpose of the Role
The purpose of the role of a Support Worker is to work with people in their home ensuring that their needs are met. We expect you at all times to have an acute focus on their behaviours and well-being, taking positive action at all times to safeguard the individuals. You will develop positive relationships building trust and confidence.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Providing effective day to day shift cover that supports the needs of the clients.
You will take part in working within a small team to ensure our service user receives the care needed in line with their agreed support plan and contribute to the on-going development of care / support plans for the individuals you support.
To implement agreed behavioural interventions. To effectively implement appropriate assessment and intervention methods
You will also be confident working with ever changing environments, being able to adapt approaches, and be versatile in your approach to challenging situations.
Be able to respond positively to challenges, be reflective self-motivating, creative and a team player.
Maintain and develop themselves as well as develop positive links in the local community.
To be dynamic, enthusiastic, organised, highly motivated and have a positive outlook with a good sense of humour.
