About the Role: MET Strip/Fitter Technician As an MET Strip/Fitter Technician, you’ll play a critical role in the repair process, ensuring that vehicles are restored to the highest standards. Your key responsibilities will include: Dismantling and reassembling vehicles according to manufacturer specifications. Conducting detailed inspections to assess damage and plan necessary repairs. Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools. Collaborating with the Bodyshop team to ensure timely, high-quality repairs. Maintaining a safe, organised, and clean workspace while adhering to health and safety guidelines. About You To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: Proven experience as an MET Strip/Fitter or in a similar position within the accident repair industry. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair methods. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and Bodyshop equipment. A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. Problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure. Relevant qualifications (e.g., SVQ Level 3 or equivalent) are highly desirable.
