About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Business Manager to work closely with Touker Suleyman, the Investment Director and General Manager as part of the Investment Brands team, overseeing and driving growth across a portfolio of businesses, including Sonisk ( and investments made within the group (including from Dragon’s Den, BBC1). This is a hands-on, fast-paced role requiring commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to work across multiple industries simultaneously.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in FMCG, consumer goods, e-commerce, or entrepreneurial ventures, with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to manage sales, marketing & operations. Travel may be required to support international business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Commercial Management
* End-to-end management of businesses within Touker’s portfolio, focusing on Sonisk and other private investments.
* Strategic growth planning, execution, and operational oversight across different business verticals.
* Managing UK & global accounts, including key retail and distribution partnerships.
Sales & Revenue Growth
* Working with General Manager and leading the full sales cycle – from prospecting to closing deals with retailers, distributors, whilst building long lasting relationships.
* Collaborating with our Amazon agents to drive profitable growth across UK and international markets, optimising sales, marketing, and account performance.
* Identifying and executing new B2B & B2C growth opportunities across UK and international markets.
* Developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to build brand presence, drive customer acquisition, and scale revenue across our e-com channels.
* Negotiating commercial agreements, pricing, and contracts to drive revenue.
Operations & Finance
* Working with Investment Director to overseeing financial performance, budgeting, and reporting for businesses in the portfolio.
* Working closely with supply chain and finance teams to optimise operations.
* Managing investor and founder relations, preparing insightful reports to communicate business performance and strategic updates to shareholders.
Entrepreneurial Execution & Investment Support
* Conducting market research and due diligence on new business opportunities.
* Supporting the growth and scaling of other early-stage consumer brands.
* Working directly with Touker Suleyman, Investment Director and General Manager on strategic business decisions, funding, and partnerships.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ 2-5 years of experience in FMCG, consumer goods, e-commerce, startups, or entrepreneurial ventures.
✔ Proven experience managing commercial growth, sales cycles, and business development.
✔ Strong financial & operational understanding – ability to manage P&L, budgets, and investment analysis.
✔ Self-starter with a high level of autonomy and ability to execute under pressure.
✔ Experience managing UK & international markets, including key retailer relationships.
✔ Strong negotiation, sales, and deal-making ability.
✔ Ability to travel internationally when required.
