We are currently working with two distinct wealth managers within the City of London. The two mandates are as follows:
Independent Financial Adviser [Hybrid/Remote*]
The client is an IFA who are looking to hire an experienced advisor to join their evolving team in London.
The firm, in question, are strategically partnered with a large UK-based financial planning firm and have managed to retain their highly collegiate nature. They are in a very solid place and can provide the platform and infrastructure to allow autonomous management of your client book. The firm bring together a vast of amount of experience from across some of the most notable wealth management houses. They have also been recognised, over the years, for their collegiate nature through an array of professional awards.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of experience within private banking or relationship management. Chartered (or en-route) is preferred but not essential. It is expected that the candidate would hold a significant and established client base and have an interest in moving into an increasingly independent operation. A desire for long-term growth with more control over their business is a must. In return, you will work under an ever-growing, backed, supportive network of leading advisors within the space. Therefore, you can fully commit your time to providing sophisticated and highly tailored advice to a range of clients on a range of financial matters. Although not restrictive, most clients are HNW and there is a large focus on inter-generational wealth planning.
*Although they offer remote, you must be within a commutable distance to their London office [London Border Territories and Periphery Commuter Towns].
Client Adviser (Partner), FinTech [Hybrid]
The second client is a fast-growing start-up. They are looking to hire an experienced Adviser (Partner) to join their dynamic and growing team in London.
This firm is changing the face of financial advice by combining human expertise with innovative technology. Their mission is to empower advisers to spend time with their clients and eliminate the time-consuming administrative tasks that often hinder client engagement. The business focuses on providing holistic financial planning to both mass affluent and high-net-worth individuals, with a key emphasis on helping clients achieve their life goals, rather than solely focusing on investments.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in providing financial advice and will be qualified to give regulated financial advice in the UK (i.e. a minimum of level 4 diploma) with a strong preference for those who hold Chartered status. The firm is looking for advisers with an entrepreneurial mindset and who are excited about the prospect of working in a start-up environment and growing their client book.
This is an opportunity to move away from traditional wealth management models and be part of an autonomous culture where you can take full control of your book.
Due to demand, we are advertising this role anonymously. If you would prefer to speak to someone before submitting a CV, please send a blank application to the role and someone will be in touch to discuss.
We can only respond to highly qualified candidates.
