We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Podiatrist to join our friendly and supportive team working in the Bridgend area. The role will offer the opportunity to use and develop your professional skills and experience in a range of community settings.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assessing and treating a range of podiatric pathologies.
2. Conducting musculoskeletal Podiatry assessments.
3. Managing wounds and referrals for nail surgery and other onward referrals.
4. Providing patient self-management support.
5. Effectively managing a clinical caseload of clients with complex needs using evidence-based, client-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate podiatric interventions.
6. Supporting positive behavioural changes and empowering self-management.
7. Conducting autonomous assessments and developing treatment plans for a wide range of Podiatry patients with routine and complex health problems.
8. Involvement in research and local clinical audit to measure and monitor intervention evaluation.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
