Job summary We have an opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic and friendly in-patient rehabilitation team based at the Central England Rehabilitation Unit (CERU) This exciting post involves working very closely with a full range of other allied health professionals (AHP's) and ward staff using an interdisciplinary approach. The post-holder will initially be required to meet the criteria in the attached Band 5 person specification with the opportunity to work towards a Band 6 role once achieving dysphagia competencies, completion of NQP competencies and demonstrating the criteria in the B6 person specification/job description. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients who have sustained a brain injury resulting in complex communication and/or swallowing disorders. You must be a team player with excellent time management skills and show enthusiasm, flexibility, adaptability and curiosity in your management.
