The overall role of the Waking Night Care Worker is to work as part of a team providing support to service users with long term mental health and often physical health issues, in our CQC Outstanding rated care home – Montrose House, Ipswich.
* 18.8 hours per week
* From £11,936.49 per annum (£23,492.04 full time equivalent) plus 20% waking night allowance.
* 21:45pm to 07:45am Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a 36-minute unpaid break per shift. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any other working pattern.
* Based at Montrose House, Ipswich
* Permanent Contract
* Start date from 2nd June 2025
Key requirements for this role:
* At least one year’s experience of working with people who have mental health needs or associated field.
* Relevant practical skills and willingness to support others with activities of daily living.
* Able to work night shifts and occasional day shifts for training and continuous professional development.
* Able to work with people experiencing acute mental distress.
